When your child’s behavior has you confused and frustrated, it’s not uncommon to wonder what’s wrong with him…or what’s wrong with you. We find ourselves asking, “Why would she behave this way?”, “Is there something wrong with him?” or “Why doesn’t she like me?” These classes are for parents usually.

School Age Connections is a multifaceted online set of modules offering education about school-age children to teachers, caregivers, and parents across Nebraska and beyond. School Age Connections consists of three modules.

Resources for veterans and military family caregivers from Operation Family Caregiver at the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving.
Respite for caregivers of Veterans from all eras is a recognized, but often unmet need. Special considerations for the development and implementation of respite care for caregivers of younger Veterans with disabilities, and new ways to improve access to services, may be required. This fact sheet provides a basic review of respite issues for providers who work with Veterans and their caregivers. It will also help Lifespan Respite grantees better understand the unique needs of Veterans.
The Respite Care Provider Training (RCPT), a competency-based entry level respite provider training curriculum, developed by the Respite Care Association of Wisconsin as part of the ARCH/National Academy for State Health Policy Respite Provider Recruitment and Training Initiative, is designed for people who are interested in providing respite care to individuals with varying disabilities and ages across the lifespan. Each course in the training meets at least one of the Respite Care Professional Core Competencies and was field tested in ten states.
