The Nebraska Caregiver Survey
There are over 179,000 caregivers in Nebraska. This number may be even higher, as many caregivers do not recognize that they are, indeed, caregivers. As the late Rosalyn Carter said: “There are only four kinds of people in the world: Those who have been caregivers; Those who are currently caregivers; Those who will be caregivers; And those who will need a caregiver.”
The Nebraska Lifespan Respite Network is excited to invite you to complete the Nebraska Caregiver Survey - an initiative aimed at learning how many caregivers we have in Nebraska, as well as understanding and addressing the needs of working caregivers.
What is the Nebraska Caregiver Survey? The Nebraska Caregiver Survey is an anonymous, no-cost, web-based survey designed to shed light on the experiences of working caregivers across the state. By participating in this survey, caregivers can share their insights and challenges related to balancing work and caregiving responsibilities.
Why is the Survey Important? Employers play a crucial role in supporting their caregiving employees. By understanding the scope and needs of working caregivers, employers can implement policies and initiatives that create healthier and more supportive workplaces. The survey results can inform decisions on support programs, resources, and flexible work arrangements tailored to the needs of caregiving employees.
Share your valuable insights! Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of caregivers and build stronger, more inclusive communities.
