The Aging Office of Western Nebraska (AOWN) has a mission to provide a comprehensive and coordinated service delivery system to assist elderly citizens remain safe and independent in their own home and community. AOWN services eleven counties of the Panhandle: Banner, Box Butte, Cheyenne, Dawes, Deuel, Garden, Kimball, Morrill, Scotts Bluff, Sheridan, and Sioux counties. Eligibility for services is determined by age. A person must be 60 years of age or older to qualify, but other considerations may be given.
